the Bronze Steed

One of Zamthel's favorite Inns in Morelia, run by a goblin named Gregor. It is out of the way of anyone potentially important, but not so out of the way that one can't get information from patrons should the need arise.

Purpose / Function

The main hall is on the ground floor, and is more or less a lounge and bar. Until closing time, patrons who are not necessarily staying the night are welcome by Gregor. As a result, he charges less for his rooms (noise complaints driving down prices).

Design

The Bronze Steed is a fairly square building in the outskirts of the Kahnt District. Its walls are made of stone, despite the name, and its interior is designed with oak wood. Bronze seems to be the metal used in many of the decorations.
The main building is large enough to house about 30 patrons, with 5 rooms upstairs for guests who reserve a room.

Sensory & Appearance

The main floor is well illuminated by a small hearth. Inside the hearth a fire in kept lit during the evenings. There are several scones low on the stone walls to allow for more lighting. Above the bar there is a single luminous stone from the Mage Guild.
Gregor often has a hired bard to perform for holidays and special occasions, but otherwise there is little music played in the building.
