Second Era

The Second Era was a dark time, when the Evil Overlord overtook much of Illon. The era began when the Evil Overlord defeated Good King Ulmond. The Second Era is marked by fear, tyranny, and despair. Under the Overlord’s oppressive rule, rebellions are crushed, and the land is shrouded in perpetual darkness. Heroes are few, and those who rise must battle not only powerful armies but their own inner demons.
Eagremond was slowly taken over by the Evil Overlord. His allies in Omnios took after him, causing similar trouble there.
Sumasi and Jotai experienced a lot of colonialism during this time.
The Second Era ended when Godfrey Samuels and his companions killed the Evil Overlord.
