Denrin
Trading port on the shores of the Lake of Clouds. The city acts as a major shipping hub, gathering goods from the lake, the nearby plains and the dwarven settlements in the nearby Iron Hills. They are particularly known for their ceramics made from the clay gathered from the shores of the Lake. These and other goods are then shipped down river to Salindar or to the capitol Illyria.
Districts
Cloudport Home to the fishing fleet of Denrin and the various shipwrights who are known for their river and lake craft. Copperport Major dwarven district within the city. The smoke from the forges of various metal works fill the area (Iron, copper, steel, some mithril). Additionally, there are a number of dwarven traders specializing in gems and crystals. Westbank Caravans and trading companies fill the Westbank and regularly depart for Illyria and Fort Marin. Many stables and animal pens give the area a strong smell. Smokestrand Crafting district, known for ceramics, freshwater pearls, carvings from driftwood, minor trade in Ancient artifacts Lord’s Spring This is a small upper class and noble sector of town. The palace of the imperial govenor, Lord Brackherst sits on the highest hill in this district. While not surrounded by defensive walls, a small garrison of imperial guard are barracked nearby and provide protection for him and the rest of the town. Six Barrows A large graveyard to the outskirts of the town, this is one of the few places in the empire where clerics of Death can be found practicing their worship.Government
The city is ruled by the imperially appointed governor, Lord Brackherst. His estate can be found in the Lord's Spring district of the town.
