Hollow's Field

The Time of Tranquility

Hollow's Field was initially a lush and vast meadow located at the intersection of two great forests. Elves and fae creatures frequented this pristine place, dancing amidst the daisies and the wild grasses.

The Fateful Encounter

A tribe of humans, migrating from the east from the Fuldahls, found the field. Enchanted by its tranquility, they began to settle, forging a harmonious existence alongside the mystical beings who called the meadow home. They coexisted here for thousands of years.

The Dissonance Rises

Human settlements expanded, demanding more from the fertile soil and verdant woods. Many trees were sacrificed, and the equilibrium of nature was threatened. Sensing this disturbance, the magical creatures began to withdraw. The peace between the humans and the nature worshippers became very strained.

The Battle of Echoes

Nature's defenders, primarily powerful druids of the Shadow Circle, sought to reclaim Hollow's Field from the encroaching humans. The resulting battle was devastating, scarring the very heart of the field and creating the hollow that gave it its name.

Sir Abalarder Thorne's Valor

As the land was still recovering from the previous battle, a new threat arose. A rogue Bronze Dragon, its motives inscrutable, descended upon the area. It laid waste to vast stretches of forest, threatening both the human settlements and the few mystical havens that remained. It was then that Sir Abalarder Thorne, a knight of considerable repute, rallied a group of adventurers. Using a mix of strategy, valor, and arcane prowess, they confronted the dragon in a battle that raged for days. Ultimately, with heavy losses, they managed to defeat the creature, saving what remained of Hollow's Field.

Era of Reconciliation

The aftermath of the dragon's rampage made cooperation between humans and the magical beings even more critical. With combined efforts, they not only rejuvenated parts of Hollow's Field but also erected two monuments – the Stone of Accord, symbolizing the earlier peace between man and nature, and the Thorne Pillar, a memorial dedicated to Sir Thorne and his brave companions.

Twilight Whispers

The spirits of the past, especially those fallen in the two great battles, lingered. Hollow's Field became both a pilgrimage site and a location of historical significance.

Age of Shadows

Dark practitioners of Bhal, drawn by the field's potent energies, began conducting nefarious rituals, tainting its spiritual ambiance.

The Dawn's Return

Heroes, reminiscent of Sir Thorne and his band, confronted the dark coven, ensuring Hollow's Field would remain a beacon of hope.

Modern Times

Today, Hollow's Field is a blend of the past and the present, serving as fertile farmland, a spiritual haven, and a reminder of the valorous deeds of those like Sir Abalarder Thorne.
