The Crown Council

The Crown Council is the overall decision and policy making apparatus for the Kingdom of Balemont. It's composition will usually vary throughout a Monarch's life and those appointed, serve at the pleasure of the Crown of Balemont. Those who are on the council wield large amounts of power as they oversee key critical aspects of the Kingdom's economic, military and civil structures.

Structure

The Council is made up of the following individuals:

1. The Crown
2. Royal Chancellor
3. Lord Commander of the King's Guard
4. Lord Commander of the Royal Navy
5. Master of Coin
6. Spymaster

Traditionally, the Royal Chancellor will act as regent for the Crown should the Monarch be indisposed to fulfill their duties. The positions are usually filled by the most powerful vassals and/or the most trusted vassals of the King.
