Encounters:
  1. A band of Kobolds burst from a manhole clearly in a panic. Nearby imperial foot-soldiers immediatly attack, causing the Kobolds to retaliate. The Kobolds flee, hiding in the sheriff's office. The kobolds used to live in the sewers, but were pushed out by encroaching roots.
  2. A middle-aged, disgruntled general recognizes Roy; he tells Roy that he thought he was dead and that many don't remember him. Offers to buy him a drink at The Dead Man's Gullet and talk about their younger days.

The Dead Man's Gullet

The exterior is a 2-story wood and cobblestone building with a balcony that winds around the second floor. Cobblestone steps leads a set of thick dark oak double doors with large framed windows on either side. An old wooden sign above the door depicts a skeleton reclining on an upright barrel downing a flagon of ale.   The interior is warmly lit by a roaring fireplace and an iron chandelier. Several round tables are scattered around the room seated by a sparse number of chatting patrons. A job board can be found framed on the wall to the left of the entrance door by a set of stairs that leads to the second floor. Behind the L-shaped counter is a half-elf woman named Jenia Nailo, who is often chatting with patrons of her inn or performing various duties that require her attention. The air is warm and smells of fine cooking.

  2. A couple of hunters converse on a recent successful hunt of a griffon, they seem somewhat disappointed however that they were unable to grab any of the eggs as they sell for a small fortune.
  3. A particularly drunk, raucous individual stands up on one of the tables and demands that "a fellow sorcerer challenge him in a duel of arcane prowess." Being as drunk as he is, he immediately passes out after taking any damage. If he is to be taken back to his room, the PCs find in the morning that a note has been left thanking them for their kindness and rewarding their skill with 25 GP and a Ring of Chills. If he is not assisted the PCs simply receive a note admitting defeat and a reward of 25 GP.
  4. (See All in a Days Work quest in notes)A group of 5 loggers are sitting at a large round table, 2 of which are noticeably nursing minor wounds that seem somewhat out of the ordinary. Upon questioning it is discovered that, while surveying the land for the new work site, the two injured surveyors were attacked by something from up in the sky. Neither got a good look at it, but they are all too afraid to go back and all work has been shortly ceased until the issue is handled. The loggers say that the foreman might pay a fair price if they take care of the issue.

Thok's Apothecary

Exterior
The town apothecary in the poorer district of Arborden, often known as Old Arborden. The exterior facade of this 1-story building is made of layered stones overgrown with bright-green mosses soaked with dew. Mushrooms of wild and strange shapes form out of the cracks of the stone. The warm light from within glows through the fogged-over windows.
Interior
Once entering, shoppers are greeted by the pleasant sent of pine, moss, and the lingering aroma of rain. The air is humid and blanketed by a comforting warmth that has no detectable source. Potted plants, so overgrown that they spill over the lips of their containers, hang from the ceiling. Many of the walls, say for the wall behind the counter, have thinly spaced out wood slats in front of them that act as scaffolding for various wild flowers, vines, fungi and many other plants. Tiny myconid's scurry from shelf to shelf, plant to plant, and customer to customer gleefully provide assistance to whomever they can. Each are of different species of mushroom and do not speak a word, rather pantomiming fairly well their intentions. Behind the counter is Thok, a firbolg woman standing around 7' 8" wearing commoners clothing, fur shoes, and a frilled beige apron with pockets that hold a pair of shears and a trowel.

I wish you had included a bit more information or descriptions about the town itself, but the detailed locations were great! I love the idea of adding the job board, and the different events that may happen across different locations. I think it will be really neat for when you GM on this location.   For future competitions, bear in mind that if you had a stub article you wanted to use for a competition, you need to reset the date. There are usually instructions on how to do so on the competition's page.
