Imaginaerium, Day 15 - Ganbatte!

Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.
— Pablo Picasso
Now that we have settled in for the long haul and some have already finished the first ten prompts, there's a moment to catch our breath. Don't get lost in just the frenzy of writing - remember to check out the work of others and spread the joy. A single comment or like can do wonders for someone's day.   I'm going to try to feature more first-comers to Summer Camp in the article section of the coming Imaginaerium, so stay tuned!

Book Recommendation

by Amy Stewart
The Drunken Botanist is not a book I have read myself (but oh boy is it on my wish list - sadly, only hardbacks), but it came highly recommended by a mixologist friend of mine.
“In 1897, a Scientific American reporter wrote that “mezcal is described as tasting like a mixture of gasoline, gin and electricity.   Tequila is even worse, and is said to incite murder, riot and revolution.”
Just like with food, drink and alcohol are fascinating parts of culture - and just where some of those drinks come from can help give you ideas for your own world... And judging by the quotes, it's a hell of an interesting read.

Video Recommendation

How They Did It is a short youtube series by Invicta, detailing.. Well.. How they did it, in various ways. The most interesting to me are: what was it like to be a kid in ye olden times?

Music Recommendation

One of my favorite bands of all time, ERA wasn't like anything I had heard before. It's stayed with me since.       And if you have five minutes to kill, the music video for Ameno is... Very strange, but sort of interesting. Check it out, have a listen.
