Sha

Sha is the collective name for the beastmen clans of Ianna. These proud races descend from a union between humans and were-beasts. Sha are humanlike with animal features like fur, tails or claws. They live in small villages or semi-nomadic camps. Despite their slightly savage and primal looks, sha are quite peaceful. They originate from Nindir, one of Ianna's islands, but many clans now wander across both worlds. The sha have no single seat of power: the clans govern themselves and the rules between clans often differ.
There are many different types of sha, depending on their ancestry. They are not limited to the descendants of werewolves and werebears, but also have the forms of many other beasts, such as snakes, boars and sheep, although wolf, cat and bear sha are most common. Because of many generations of interbreeding, the sha are currently considered one race that can manifest as any form: when two sha have a baby, the child might take the form of either parent or an entirely different species of sha altogether.
The sha people have strong bonds with the Kindred Spirits and often seek out these spirits to form pacts for mutual benefit. The ones that spend a lot of time on Terria usually revere Enialis as their god.
 

Ethnicities

Although the Sha are a various an colorful race. Their caravans travel both Ianna and Terria and cover many different terrains, there are those who specialized in a specific terrain, keeping te the desert, jungle of the arctic tundra's. Keeping to these terrain does have an effect on the Sha subtypes that are being born in the caravan, so it almost unheard of in Artic Caravan to have a Snake sha born.   Desert Caravan

Appearance: Sha come in many forms and sizes, depending on their subtype. They are mostly human in appearance but each sha shows its ancestry in a different way: some sha have a coat of fur, claws or a tail, patches of scales or vicious horns and many other signs of their animal heritage. Sha hair color is as diverse as the various fur colors and their eyes are often grey, blue, yellow or red.    

Sha Racial Traits

The following traits are shared by all subtypes of sha.
Low-light Vision: Sha can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light. Claws: Sha receive two claw attacks. These are primary natural attacks.
Tough Hide: Sha gain a +1 racial bonus to their armor class.
Animal Bond: Sha can use speak with animal once per day as a spell-like ability, but they can only use this to speak with animals related to their subtype. For example, wolf and fox sha can speak with dogs and wolves, whereas a cat sha can speak with cats and tigers. The caster level for these effects is equal to the sha’s level.
Languages: Sha begin play speaking Common and Beastial. Sha with high Intelligence scores can choose any language they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).
Sha Subtype: A sha belongs to one of the following subtypes: Bear, Boar, Rabbit, Cat, Fox, Rat, Sheep, Snake, and Wolf.
 

Sha Subtypes

The following paragraphs describe the traits for the various sha subtypes.   Bear Racial Traits
+2 Strength, +2 Consitution: Bear sha are strong and hardy.
Medium: Bear sha are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Slow Speed: Bear sha have a base speed of 20 feet.
Intimidating: Bear sha receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate skill checks.
  Boar Racial Traits
+2 Constitution, +2 Wisdom, and -2 Intelligence: Boar sha are resistant and wise but seem to lack common sense.
Medium: Boar sha are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Boar sha have a base speed of 30 feet.
Foraging: Boar sha receive a +2 racial bonus on Survival skill checks.
  Rabbit Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity: Rabbit sha are very nimble and skittish.
Small: Rabbit sha are Small creatures and gain a +1-size bonus to their AC, a +1-size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4-size bonus on Stealth checks.
Fast Speed: Rabbit sha have a base speed of 40 feet.
Leap: Rabbit sha receive a +4 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks.
  Cat Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, and -2 Strength: Cat sha are nimble and graceful but lack the strength other races have.
Small: Cat sha are Small creatures and gain a +1-size bonus to their AC, a +1-size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4-size bonus on Stealth checks.
Normal Speed: Cat sha have a base speed of 30 feet.
Performer: Cat sha receive a +2 racial bonus on Perform skill checks.
  Fox Racial Traits
+2 Wisdom, +2 Charisma, and -2 Strength: Fox sha are perceptive pranksters but lack the strength other races have.
Small: Fox sha are Small creatures and gain a +1-size bonus to their AC, a +1-size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4-size bonus on Stealth checks.
Slow Speed: Fox sha have a base speed of 20 feet.
Deceptive: Fox sha receive a +2 racial bonus on Bluff skill checks.
  Rat Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, and -2 Charisma: Rat sha are quick and smart but are often mistrusted.
Small: Rat sha are Small creatures and gain a +1-size bonus to their AC, a +1-size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
Normal Speed: Rat sha have a base speed of 30 feet.
Knowledgeable: Rat sha receive a +2 racial bonus on Knowledge (local) skill checks.
  Sheep Racial Traits
+2 Wisdom, +2 Charisma, and -2 Intelligence: Sheep sha are perceptive and attractive, but a bit dim-witted.
Medium: Sheep sha are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties.
Normal Speed: Sheep sha have a base speed of 30 feet.
Ram Horns: Sheep sha have a +2 bonus to CMB to bullrush or overrun an opponent.
  Snake Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, and -2 Constitution: Snake sha are quick and smart, but frail.
Medium: Snake sha are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties.
Normal Speed: Snake sha have a base speed of 30 feet.
Natural Swimmer: Snake sha receive a +4 racial bonus on Swim skill checks.
  Wolf Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, and -2 Charisma: Wolf sha are quick and in tune with their surroundings, but their looks are somewhat feral.
Medium: Wolf sha are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties.
Normal Speed: Wolf sha have a base speed of 30 feet.
Lone Wolf: Wolf sha receive a +2 racial bonus on Survival skill checks.
