Ekathas

No light belongs here. No colors, no sun, no moon or stars. The sky is inky black, and all things looks as if the color has leeched out, leaving nothing but black and white, which in the dimness is more like dark and light black. A light source brought here usually only illuminate half the distance it normally would, flames and fires puts out less heat and spells that deal with light or fire are less predictable and prone to failure, whereas shadow spells are enhanced. Even though lights only illuminate half as much, it can be spotted up to a distance of ten times it's normal range of illumination, such as a contrast to the constant gloom, like a star in the night sky.
As well as working as Evros's prison, Ekathas also holds many dark creatures and many of them are controlled by Evros . Evros  has a lot of power and control upon the plane, even though he cannot leave.
Ekathas is the counterpart to The Immortal Forest . Where the Immortal Forest is full of life, Ekathas is filled with darkness and decay.
Gravity and time works the same on Ekathas at it does on the Material plane. Like The Immortal Forest, Ekathas is a reflection of the Material Plane but more dark and twisted. Upon entering the plane, local features can be quite similar, f.eks. casting shadow walk in a forest put you in shadow forest. But from that starting point, the landscape diverges rapidly away from familiar, and on subsequent visits from the same starting point it diverges in different ways, making mapping on Ekathas a useless endeavour. Landmarks can be recognizable, but altered in some bizarre way: buildings might be constructed in a different style, built with different materials or at a different location
