Loric (a.k.a. The Lizard, Horn-Bearer, Seeker of Tales)

Seeker of Tales, Horn-Bearer, and Friend. Loric is not your run of the mill lizardfolk escaping across the sea, Oh no, this big boy is steadily rising as a trailblazer. Exploring Imperial lands for the better part of three years, and end up serving in Imperial Military for a full decade, Loric has reach out far beyond most of his kind in realms of Scaleless. These adventures across the years nurturing new understanding and fresh experiences that has steadily guided him away from... standard Lizardfolk was of thinking. Grinning, Laughing, and hells even pretending to seem like he understand why you were sad about your dog. It tasted great, and honestly it yapped a bit to much for the neighborhoods taste. Honestly it was more of him doing you a favor.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Standing 6'9 and weighing a hefty 265lbs, his frame is shares a healthy bulk for his size. I hesitate to say lean muscle, though it evens out along his frame, and supporting a rather large tail, if he say so himself.

Body Features

Graced with a beautiful array of muddy green scales, shifting to more brown than green as it shifts away from his mid-section. His mid-section, parts of his torso, and some of the scales under his neck display the more green scales of his people.

Facial Features

When not seen with out his "helmet", the lizardfolk shares common traits with many of his kind. Sporting a long maul with arrangement of predatory fangs inside. Running along his maul, atop it and few inches from his eye on the right, a decent sized scar can be seen. His eyes are a deep amber color, rather brought out with the white "helmet" he wears.

Identifying Characteristics

The large dorsal fin crested atop his skull, while normally lays flat due to his helmet, once lifted is a bright display of yellow and oranges. The large skull--I mean "helmet" that he wears in presence of the Scaleless. Adoring a series of feathers atop the crown, though the remains of a necklace is hung from the left side of it, shining a small emerald

Physical quirks

Loric has developed the habit of speaking with his hands, very rarely do they stay still when he speaks. There is also the horrible habit of his tail giving his thoughts away, while the lizardfolk do not experience emotions like the other races. Certain extremes cause it to act out, such as his tail slapping the ground when frustrated or angry, or when his interest is peaked letting his tail sway across the ground.

Special abilities

Being part of the lizardfolk race, Loric is graced with many of their gifts. His maul is a weapon all on it's own, nature's simplest weapon. His body is blanketed with scales, mirroring the toughness of most human medium armors. allowing both protection and freedom of movement. Lastly, he is blessed with the predatory gifts that thrive in his homeland, being able to hold his breathe for inhuman amount of time and natural gifted in stealth.

Apparel & Accessories

First things first, the "helmet" the being wears is rare off his person, deeming to wear it whenever around the Scaleless. Though unlike the people of his tribe, the Lizardfolk has adopted wearing lighter clothing, being a shirt and some form of lower covering. Though he has been known to wear... finer attire gracing himself with pants, some form of doublet when required.

Specialized Equipment

Since joining the Exodus from the Empire, Loric has acquired some tools and supplies to study the New World they are sailing towards. Armed with a large journal, alchemy tools, and a fair share equipment to document what they find.

The Tongue of the People | Draconic: The language that he is most comfortable in, as it shared amongst his tribe and those that share kin-ship with him.  Aether Speech | Primordial: Though his people do still have some practices in shamanism, speaking to the land, harmonizing with it. He has gather further understanding through his studies in the Empire, and with help of a good friend.  Liar's Song | Huginn's Speech: Loric holds this language with a bit of distaste, mainly due to his experiences to those whom use such a tongue. Traditional used as Thieves Cant and the tongue of the Ravenfolk.  Imperial Cant | Common: Though this was the first tongue that he had learned outside of his own people's, it is the one he tends to use the most in the coming days. Taught and made a novice in his travels with his Good Friend, it had been refined to the point that Loric believes he is a master in it during his service in the Imperial Military.
