Shrine of the Blessed Sun

The Shrine of the Blessed Sun are holy buildings built for the collection of sun light and worship to the god Lezantarus. Follower so the Lezantarus Grace come for worship with Solar Priests to help guide them. While mostly found in the southern part of the continent, there are a few as a rare sight to the north.

Purpose / Function

It is important to the Lezantarus Grace to honor their god, so in order to express their dedication, these shrines were built. As part of the religion, expressing their views upon others whether they are believers or not is the path towards more of his light. These shrines act as centers of learning and teaching of Lezantarus and his tenets. However, only people with Solar affinity are allowed to join, so they have developed ways of discovering someone's affinity in the shrine as well. Typically, they act as gateways into the relgion with either barring or accepting new people into their arms to help them develop their gift and shunning them to rot.
While it functions as this gateway, it also acts as a light re-fracture. At anyone point in the day, one look upon the shrine and check the time. Inside there are several works of glass art to mold and sculpt the light in ways not imagined. This is to bend it into form of magic that gives a nice fuzzy feeling side. The actual proprieties of the glass are not fully disclosed to the public, but it helps people who are in need of help.
