Demographics

The majority of Ascus citizens are pale skinned and human. Depending on location, there may be more races, but the pale-skinned humans hold the majority of political power. There are darker skinned elves who live in the Fytulk Timberlands, though they are largely separate from Ascan public life.

Settlements

Arolis

A large city and the northernmost city along the Spine before crossing the border to Vyon. It is the seat of Iketria, home of Lord Aslac Crispe. The most unique aspect of the city is the section comprised of tall spires where city scholars reside.

Aston

A decent sized city that grew up around the crossroads between the Spine and the road that leads east to Wandermere. Once named Maybrown, the name was changed to Aston in Asten's honor after a miracle was performed and a relic left behind in the then-small temple. The temple grew, and the town around it grew to accommodate.

Fareyri

- A midsized town in the southern part of Ascus.
