The War of Gods

The war between Aurathi and Ascan people, the gods of the Sovereign Host and the Divine Pantheon.
The Sovereign Host and their followers invaded Omphalos, leading to a war that included the gods themselves. During the war, Aella was killed, causing the Northern Wood to become dangerous, chaotic, and wild. The settlements that existed north of Riverrun were uninhabitable and destroyed or abandoned. Much of what once existed within the wilds was forgotten.
With the ocean and the Wilds now between them, the Aurathi returned home, unwilling to continue using resources, and Ascus declared independence, sharing the continent with Dhog Lodir
