Brightmoon Biodome

This underground installation dating back to the Precursor era was a massive self-contained poly-habitat for dozens of terrestrial species of fauna and thousands of different flora species. Sprawling in all directions for three square miles, the hollowed limestone caverns beneath Mount Tycho housed a series of interconnected biomes managed by automated temperature and climate controls. The facility also contained a prolific seed vault and electronic data banks storing the individual DNA profiles of millions terrestrial species.

The facility was powered by geothermal vents and a stable cold fusion reactor operated by a fleet of self-maintaining automated servitor robots. The animals inhabiting the biodome were all herbivores and periodically the servitors would cull their herds in order to maintain sustainable populations within the biomes.

History

Much of the historical data stored in the computers of the Biodome had been scrubbed by some prior occupant of the complex, though signs interspersed throughout the installation identified an organization known as "Project Restore" by name. The purpose or provenance of this organization, however, remains unknown. The only identified prior occupants of the Biodome were the Four Heroes, who appear to have used the site as a base of operations during the late 950s PCE.

This place has been verified as one of the seven SEA locations spread around the globe.

The Brightmoon Biodome was destroyed in a self-destruct explosion initiated by Janov Seldon in 997 PCE in order to prevent the installation from falling into the hands of the Phoenix Order.
