Golden Empire
Established in 984 PCE, The Golden Empire was styled on the ancient Roman Empire of Precursor antiquity. Golan Trevize built his empire as a vehicle for world domination with an aim to realizing his Utopian dream of universal Awakening. In practice the empire was a tyrannical regime that ruled through violence and terror and Trevize never understood how his ideals were undermined by the repressive policies of the Imperium. When Trevize and his Empire were defeated in 999, no one mourned their passing.
