Something for the future, I will be working on something new with Caios. It will be a Play By Post game, using 5th edition SRD rules, everything is open with caveats, the DM and the player both have to have full access to the Published rules used. ie, I own everything 5th edition D&D published on DnDB before Jan 1st, if you own one of those books, or have a PDF of one, you can use it, also say you have a BattleZoo 5th ed book, and if I have a copy of the same book you can use it. If the book you have does not have the OGL/CC license on it, it is technically only homebrew and is not for use in the game. Due to this, no Homebrew at the start. However as the game progresses some homebrew may be found.

Using BattleZoo as an example, say you want to make a Dungeon Core character (totally legal), as a DM I will make adjustments as needed to balance your character. ie all characters had to be in Times Square at the Event, so your character has to start out as a building in Times Square, I would pick the Blockbuster as your 1st level then.

Yes, the game will be set on an Alternate Earth, and will be starting in NYC in 1993. (technically the story starts 1992 on December 31st 10 seconds to midnight.). I am writing documents to explain what happens, why is your half-elf wizard there, etc. All will be clear at a later time.

Also we will not be using DnDB for this. And we may have to set up a permanent Foundry Server. For Character sheets, and the occasional maps.

Also this set up will allow everyone to DM and play once we get things rolling.

This game is not to affect the P2E Sunday game. And if needed we might get additional people just for it, as such we will probably make a space for it that is separate from our live game..
