Sub-sectorial government

Planet Favilum is the seat of sub-sectorial government, with the seat of the governor situated on hive Tenebris. The governor of hive Tenebris Caius Dives is the governor of both the system and the whole sub-sector.₁

Noble houses

The planet of Favilum is controlled by three major nobel houses: Divas, Atrius and Talia, respectfully.
House Divas is the governing house, based on Hive Tenebris. House Talia has the majority power over Hive Fodinus, and house Atrius owns Hive Australis. All aforementioned hive cities have precense and influence of all three houses.

Natural resources

The planet contains substantial mineral deposits, due to the fact of its moon's orbit deteriorating and entering Favilum's Roche limit, raining down on to the planets equator. Locals have mined the belt for centuries, but the lack of populace and unhospitable environment have slowed down the extraction below original expectations.₂

Ecclesiarchial scrutiny

The planet is the home and source of worship of a local saint called Verena. The Adeptus Ministorum has not canonized this person as of 871.M41, but has not outlawed it either₃.
A notification has been made to re-assess the legality of this saint worship.

Civil unrest

The planet, and system whole, has seen above average occurances of civil unrest and labourer revolts. Departmento Exacta has subsequently sanctioned Favilum by raising their tithe grade from Decuma Particular to Exactis Tertius.₄
