Elkhowumyd - Place of Spirits

Before I begin, note one thing: everything I am about to tell you is pure speculation and loose evidence and is not based on hard facts.

What is This Place?

Elkhowumyd is an endless labyrinth nestled in the darkest depths of Inferncenem's below-ground. Exactly where, I won't say. Its walls, crafted from shimmering glass, constantly shift and ripple, while the multitude of mirrors within project an illusion of infinite reflections, trapping those unfortunate enough, and frankly, idiotic enough, to venture inside. This desolate place serves as both a dwelling and confinement for owumyds, who wander aimlessly through its bewildering terrain for all eternity.

How Did It Come To Be?

Soon after The Great Assault, every single owumyd in the realm, even ones who were not involved in the slaughter, disappeared with no explanation. Several years later, we all concluded they were punished for their actions by being banished to a remote area of this realm.
Inexplicably, many more years later, rumours began circulating of a giant, ever-shifting maze spanning miles underground where several forms, identified as owumyds, were seen wandering through it.
The area was named "Elkhowumyd", meaning "Place of Spirits" in Fhcha.

What Does It Look Like?

There are hardly any images of this place because no one who goes inside comes out sane and complete if they come out at all. However, a few acquaintances and I have explored the maze multiple times and created several maps. Unfortunately, all of them are outdated because, as I mentioned earlier, the maze walls constantly shift.

What Exactly Can Be Found There?

The spirits one would encounter are not to be trifled with; these damned creatures are capable of causing the greatest to anyone unfortunate enough to approach them due to the sheer amount of power they hold as well as their ability to possess the bodies of living beings and inanimate objects.

So unless you do not at all treasure your sanity and life, never so much as step within one hundred feet of that wretched place.
