Flaming Swords are the most prevalent swords and fairly common weapons in Inferncenem.

Their primary crafters are the  Beasts, though the Dora kum Giants also make them, but they have to borrow fire embers from the Beasts as there isn't a lot of fire in their home of Qada Tirsi.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

It works straightforwardly: to activate the blade, one must light the fire embers glued to the sword's pommer with a spark.

Manufacturing process

The process of forging a flaming sword is as follows:

1. Heat the copper to 1,100°C in a forge then pour the molten metal into a cross-shaped mould to form the sword's hilt.
2. Melt some coloured glass and pour the molten mixture into a rectangular-shaped mould to make the pommer.
3. After letting the hilt and pommer cool, melt the bottom of the pommer and push the grip into it. Then weld the two together with a powerful burst of flames.
4. Glue the fire embers to the pommer and light them with a spark. Shape the resulting flames with your hands (ensure you wear gloves while doing this)
