Book of Dormire

Book originally held by the god of sleep before he tore himself in two. The book holds many secrets and unique magic based on the divinity of Dormire God of Sleep.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

If a player is able to get the full book many options become available. They gain access to a level 20 spell 'Dreamworld' in which they can designate a 2000km diameter circle to which the player now controlled all of reality whilst concentrating. When it drops all reverts back to normal unless people died, they remain dead as there souls have passed on. Strong enough creatures can challenge this and if succeed the effects of the spell don't work in a 20ft radius of that character.
Alternatively, the player can spend their time building a city in which he is praised as a god. Then the player must accumulate enough conscious energy find a piece of divine realm with no residence or eat another divine being to then become divine themselves.
They also get a powerfull spell called waking dream, this renders a target unconcious and they will need to make saving throws every 6 secondsto see if they suffer psychic damage. This lasts for 1 minute.

History

The book was crafted by Dormire God of Sleep prior to the corruption wars. It held all is knowledge on magic, divinity, and the conscious energy that was used to create the divine.
When the corruption war ended and the divine planes shattered the book was lost from the divine realm and fell to the material plane. Here it remained in an unstable state of being due to not passing through appropriate methods to reach the material plane. It is invisible to all those not touched by strong enough divine energy.

Significance

The sleepless sisters are desperately searching for the missing parts of this book that fell to the material plane. It is due to only one of these parts that they where able to ascend from mortals to a divine being.
They have tasked Dunamuun, there servant to retrieve the components. He has a power to teleport to the sleepless sisters from wherever he is. As such he has cultivated cults on the material plane to summon him in order for him to be able to access the material plane, grab the missing parts of the Book of Dormire and return it to the sleepless sisters.
