Lutenia
The great city of Lutenia was born out of blood, tempered in flames, and forged into a proud beacon over the course of its long history. The capital of the vast Republic of Seripha, Lutenia is often called the "Gilded City," due to its distinctive golden ornamentation prolific across most of its most prominent buildings. Its grand bridges cross the Paldromo River with gold tipped towers reflecting a glimmer of spectacular beauty across the city. The city still bears countless scars from the Continental War, and almost 60% of its buildings were damaged or destroyed during the final days of the war. Entire districts are still strewn with empty lots and scattered rubble, and the patchy repairs of damaged buildings are a common sight, with splotchy patches of lighter material contrasted across a multitude of buildings.
From a distance, Lutenia is absolutely magnificent. A glittering jewel in the Paldromo Valley. But walk through its streets, and the scars have never quite healed. The very foundations of this city have been cracked by the terrors of the war.Waltram Kilott, Seriphanese philospher and writer in "Memoirs of the Continental War"
