Throri Greybelt

Throri Greybelt arrived in Makewent over 60 years ago after several decades of adventuring and had decided that it was time to invest her hard-earned loot and settle down. She had family in the town at the time, and they helped her take ownership of the local inn, the Wandering Goblin, after its previous owner wanted to retire. Whilst there was a bit of a commotion that a dwarf, and a dwarf female no less, was taking over the inn, these days the locals wouldn't have it any other way. Throri is well known in the area for being friendly, always happy to party, but having little patience for trouble-makers; more than a few overly-boisterous visitors have been turfed out on their backsides and had to sleep in the stables.
A few small-minded and more conservative inhabitants are quick to criticise her seeming lack of piety towards the gods. Indeed, she has never been seen in the temple, and openly admits to not having much stock in deities, but this is a minority opinion - far too many appreciate her open nature and warm, comfortable hearth. Instead, she seems to believe quite heavily in destiny, and many a trader or adventurer stopping in her inn receives a short talk about what Throri perceives their future to be.
