Ragadahn
The Water Lord, Arch-Fey
For more information on all Arch-Fey, see: Arch-Fey
Ragadahn the Water Lord is one of the Arch-Fey, a divine fey creature of tremendous power said to be able to reshape the very fabric of Faerûn on a whim. He appears as a linnorm and maintains that he is the father of all linnorms in Faerûn and, one suspects, the Material Plane too. In making this claim, he also counts himself the Father of Dragons and this title may be considered heretical by other dragon deities. Arrogant and wise at the same time, Ragadahn believes that the oceans are home to the first life and the secrets of eternity, and knows a great deal about extinct aquatic cultures in the Great Beyond. He is fond of symbolism, especially the limitless ouroboros and spiral.

Physical Description
Ragadahn is an enormous, streamlined blue-green linnorm with flippers in place of legs.Divine Realm
Ragadahn resides in the city of Karaphas, but claims all bodies of water in Faerûn (and the Material Plane, to an extent) as his own realm and all creatures dwelling there as his subjects. In truth, he cares little about them, and few ever see him, though few dragons would enter the deep waters of Faerûn without his permission, and those seeking to speak to Ragadahn are advised to call his name from land so he would not accuse them of trespassing. Karaphas has existed for so long on the bottom of the Cerulean Sea that no one can remember whether it was a sunken city from the surface, or one built from the ground up as an underwater settlement. Karaphas' architecture is unknown but obviously non-humanoid. The streets and buildings are decaying, lit by magical light and encrusted with molluscs. A few structures hold trapped air bubbles, but only the Memory Palace has magic that replenishes it. Ragadahn makes his home in a temple near the city centre, large enough to hold hundreds of creatures at once. No one knows why Ragadahn pays so much attention to Karaphas, but most speculate that he is searching for something. No intelligent creature is allowed to enter Karaphas without his explicit permission, and even asking for it is to risk being eaten. Despite Ragadahn's legendary jealousy, he is willing to make the occasional exception for when it suits his interests. This restriction does not apply to wildlife, and Karaphas boasts a thriving marine ecosystem with a few species found nowhere else. A wide variety of creatures have flocked to Karaphas to curry favor with Ragadahn. They have established the Sunken Court, a ramshackle "town" that straddles around one edge of Karaphas, carefully never venturing into the city itself. Ragadahn has little time to pay attention to them, and allows their leader to rule them as long as they obey him. Ragadahn is the Arch-Fey that most often leaves Faerûn to travel and sire children in the Material Plane, or visit the libraries in Axiom.Tenets of Faith
- Mark effigies of spirals and the ouroboros wherever you walk.
- Seek primordial secrets and forgotten knowledge now gathering dust.
- Always carry water upon your person.
Worshipers
Many linnorms bow before Ragadahn as their progenitor, while chromatic and metallic dragons view his claimed title "Father of Dragons" as heretical.Contacts & Relations
Arch-Fey
Ragadahn is intrigued by Magdh, and shares an interest in the esoteric with Shyka and Ng. He considers the Green Mother petty, the Lantern King irreverent, and the Lost Prince pouty. It is believed that Ragadahn is the individual most knowledgeable about Imbrex's goals (outside of Imbrex themselves), but he rarely talks about the Twins.Divine Traits
