The Hands of Erathis
For more information on all Lesser Idols, see: Lesser Idols
Within Erathis' realm of Nirvana, the goddess of law is guided by two beings; the Hands of Erathis. Two entities of pure lawful abidance, they act as her advisors, governors, and confidants in keeping order in both mortal civilization and the great city of Axiom.
Abadar is worshipped as the patron of cities, law, merchants, and wealth. Abadar’s cathedral-banks are found in many cities and places where order thrives or is gaining a foothold. Aristocrats, city guards, merchants, and those working in legal practice or who have the well-being of their community on their mind are common worshippers of the Right Hand of Erathis, along with dwarves in general. Abadaran priests living in cities often serve as judges, lawyers, and clerks, while those who live on the frontier work as roving magistrates, acting as judge, jury, and executioners in the name of order.
Brigh’s exact origins are unknown, though her priests and various religious scholars have many theories on the matter. Some believe she was a construct who achieved consciousness and a spark of divinity, while others think she was a human alchemist and inventor who discovered ways to fuse mechanical components with her own physiology. Regardless of her origins, Brigh is a patient and thoughtful entity who promotes unending curiosity and constant intellectual advancement in her role as the Left Hand of Erathis.
