The Elf homeland, name the Hierocracy, is a land of tundra and snow. They have been further impeded by the Imperium of Giants and have had many small wars over unclaimed territory. as well as an ongoing diplomatic power struggle with the human nation Dratus across the sea from them. To adapt to this their culture has adopted a strict hierarchy system with certain task only allowed by certain castes. This has allowed for a formidable nation in a location that many would find inhospitable. Elves favor heavy clothing made of furs, with colored patches denoting their position. While they are not hostile towards those that have left the Hierocracy, they do show distain for those that abandon their “rightful” placements. Elves see half-elves as faults in the system and can be actively hostile toward them.
