Kingdom of Dratus

Humans are from the kingdom of Dratus. While it does have a monarch that monarch has less power than one may think. The kingdom is made of 5 houses, the main four: Oter, Nichollor, Kenmer, and Jenrett function in a similar manner to guild and company. Houses are charge with the well being of those that work within them as well as representing their interested in the house counsel. The last house, Dratus, is the royal house with the current monarch as head. House Dratus position is meant to be a neutral mediator between the houses as well as being the deciding factor when the counsel is divided. This means that they have more power than many give them credit for, especial since they have the largest standing army of any house.
Dratus is also home to the Counsel of Nations as well as being the home of many human half breeds.
