Living deep in the desert, the Lizardfolk formed the nation of the Thrak Sultanate. The sultanate is based around large walled cities built around oases in the desert. The nation relies heavy on the import of food to make up what cant be grown and maintain their large population. The largest farms are along the Merid river, the border with Cabalic. The Thrak use the large swaths of desert between cities as their primary defense against outsiders. Due to their location few except the lizardmen can make their home in Thrak cities with most outsiders relying on magic to keep the heat off. The Thrak is also home to great seers that can foretell possible futures and many travelers come to have their fortune told.
