Athas Goldspire
An Archmage and political figure during the era of the Great Shattering. Founding the College of High Magic Athas founded the magical college with the intention of reclaiming many of the great magical bloodlines as well as pushing magic into the future. One of the founding members of the Starlight Brotherhood, Athas was the only of the mage brotherhood to not create a platform for the City of Trinium, instead opting to create the College of High Magic on the ground instead. He is quoted as having said, "Why should I place my school in the clouds? Not all of my students know how to fly."
