Often called the birthplace of modern government and magic, the Democratic States of Arcturia, or Arcturia as it is commonly refered to is a country that prides themselves on their cultural roots and democratic lending of voice to the common man.

While the Arcturians think the status of Denholm was due to their gifts of magic to them Denholm often find this claim to be ridiculous and reductive. Despite this the two countries have enjoyed a relativley close relationship since the fall of the Ipsum empire due to how deeply ingrained magic users and their stance on magic has been in both societies.
Agitators
The relationship between Arcturia and Karkos is the primary driving factor between the growing tensions between the two major alliances on the continent. Karkos's adamant and growing hatred for magic users and Arcturia's staunch defense of free use of magic and thinkning have been a source of tension on the global stage for many years now and the emity between the two have only grown with the rise to power of the new Karkosian regime.
