Hardstok (hard-stock)

The capital city of the Denholm republic Hardstok, while not the largest city in Denholm, is the cultural center of the country. Built and modernized around the central fortress built during the Age of Conquest the city is a veritable fortress and houses one of the four major magical colleges of the world. In addition to this Hardstok serves as the governmental capital of the country. Majority of the major Noble houses have their primary residences here while they keep their economic holdings in Seawich or Sirewich typically depending on their house's origins.

Defences

While boasting the usual compliment of footsoldiers, police forces, and golems, the primary resource that marks Hardstok from other Denish cities is the Collosus Golem, a relic of ancient times but nonetheless issues a dare to any would be invaders to take the city while under this 100 foot tall titan.

Infrastructure

A significant portion of the infrastructure is built around the Ipsum roads with additional expansions to account for the transport of the large Witchforged constructs of the Republic.

Guilds and Factions

While most factions are drawn by their lineages and the association with noble houses the exception outside of these traditional factions is, Gray College, the magical college of Hardstok devoted to the devotion and control of magically inclined youths.
