Heir to the throne

Prince Ælfric is the first born son of King Titus ll and heir to the throne. Like his father Ælfric is a man of insight. He has studied with scholars and artisans of the finest order. Ælfric believes that words are a more deadly weapon than any sword, potion or spell. He employs this too as he is a fine wordsmith. He has eased tension in many witans with his speech alone. He is a lover of poetry and song and practices both. What Ælfric has in wit he lacks in battle prowess though. He has trained with master duelists like most royals but the teachings never stuck with the boy. Ælfric's relations with his other siblings are rocky at best. Being raised has heir he has been distant from his brothers and sisters. While Ælfric may be firstborn he has yet to wed. He will need a wife and child to strengthen his claim to his fathers throne. Ælfric is often mocked for his approach to politics, many believe that a prince needs to be a warrior but Ælfric is bound and determined to prove them wrong. To prove that wars can be won without battles and that peace can be achieved without bloodshed. In time the Prince will have time to prove all of this.
