Arvain Luchance
"Arvain was the biggest pain in my side when I was a child, and the strongest sword that stood by it. We came to the castle at the same time. His parents didn't want him so they gave him up the Riders. We grew up together, trained together, and took on the Trial together. He was always sure of himself, and a real show boat. He took to riding and magic faster than the rest of us and from then on he kept getting better.
He rode the dragon Frontier, a gorgeous beast of tan and white. Frontier, like its rider, is wild, and perilouly direct. During a training exerisce the dragon threw a fit and melted the head of stone statue. Arvain and Frontier were at the Crystal Castle when the Order attacked. I hear he was shot off mid-flight, but however it happened he died that night."-Filavandrel Hero of The Vale
