Cockatrice

Part Draconid, part chicken, and completly devastating. The cockatrice is a sub-species of Basilisks. Where basilisks thrive in humid places with dense vegation, the Cockatrice prefers open fields, rolling hills, and clear skies. They often hunt sheep and other livestock--ripping them apart with its razor-like talons. These grotesque mosnters can even breath fire and carry wagons. It is a lucky thing that the Cockatrice is so rare.
