Greenshire

Greenshire is the South-West Provice of The Vale and is ruled over by Filavandrel's decendants. Unlike the other holds, Greenshire is very new--only being formed after the Snake War. It was first ruled over by a Black Dagger named Germand, father to Filavandrel. Who the current rightful Lord of the Shire is up for debate, but the minor lords have stayed the same. The Wightclaws rule over the Iron Fortress, and the Orwin's over Aeston.
Greenhaven is the capital of the Shire and has been attacked and sieged more than any other city in The Vale.
