Jon Gray
Commander (a.k.a. Old-Dog)
Jon Gray was a tested and battle hardened warrior that served House Gray for many years. He was born to the warriors Morla Gray, and Robert Spear-Brave. This meant that ever since he could walk he was training. He won his first battle when he was thirteen, crushing the Warsworn army that had been encroaching on Wolden. Like his elder sister, Jon fought in the Great War. He served as a ranger--slipping into enemy territory, gathering resources, and spying. He fought beside Filavandrel-Hero of The Vale in The Battle of The Redwood, and he fought for the King in the Civil War. Jon's skills with a blade are specatclur and he may be one of the best in Woldenshire.
Inbetween battles Jon grew close with his bastard niece, Hera. Ever since she could talk she was enamered with her uncle and wanted to be just like him. So when she got older he threw her a sword and bid she duel him. He taught her everything she knows. Perhaps that's why it was so crushing when he fought his lost battle. Like all of those in Wolden Jon got the summons to gather at Xares--the Bullks had taken the Golden Land and they were next. Jon stood feirce with his twin blades and stared down the Bullks. He would give his life in this fight, dying like a soldier should.
