Kadune
The Qadhaadh tribe of the Nathair make their home in Kadune. Built on the shifting sands of the desert the Qadhaadh learned to make sturdy foundations from tightly packing wet sand. When they do this right it become as tough as stone. It is a refined and beautiful town. Tall buildings and humble homes with roofs that curve upward at their end. Kadune however could not have been built without the help of the other tribes. Wood was imported from the Oasis and stone was brought from Grandak. The Qadhaadh are masters of trade and struck deals with the tribes so that they could build their great town. There is the Kadune Bazaar where you can smell an array of wonderful spices while you haggle with merchants for fine silks and satin shawls.
Kadune controls one of the most important places in the Desert, The Ruby Road. The Ruby Road is a network of trade routes spanning miles and miles. Merchants of all tribes come to the Ruby Road to trade and sell what they have to the other tribes given permission by the chieftain, and if the right fee is paid.
