The Egg War

In 2009 a Dwarven Viking by the name of Mor'du Bronloch returned home with a blue dragon egg he had plundered. Soon after gossip grew like wildfire and it was not long before the other clans learned of the egg. Each sought to claim the egg for themselves so that they might have a dragon. With a dragon none of the other clans could oppose them, and they might be as great as the Elves who ride dragons.   Later in 2012 Jarl Andrew Torc makes the first move for the egg. He attacked by ocean first. His invasion force fought their wat in to Ardlui's harbor, while the rest of his troops sieged the town from the outside. However Andrew was not successful and was driven into defeat. This later would be called the Battle for The Egg, and today is recounted as the beginning of the Egg War.   The Battle for The Egg would not be the last mass slaughter however. Only a year later the Southern Clans reached Iron Mountain, the border between the North and South. They all sacked the fortress Irador and pushed into the Hundrud Mine.   The battles and bloodshed would continue until 2017, when in an attempt to protect the egg it was lost forever. The Viking Norald Red-Sea sailed away with the egg; his ship was attacked and the egg dropped to the ocean floor.
