Amaratharr Valley
The @[Amaratharr Valley](location:ed774764-1a66-4d2f-bcab-e06408f71938) acts as a gateway to the @[Elven Forest](location:b61640dd-0b7f-4410-8213-ad51291fbf70) from the banks of the @[Gweyr](location:4181be21-75eb-457d-8d7d-0306d7a6d740). This land is home to the @[Outlanders](ethnicity:fe80ad82-3968-48fe-ba04-c966478d2983), a group that serves as hunters and stewards of the @[Aelinor Oaks](species:e69fcfc5-2ffe-461f-b6d0-9d32f1e3e399).
Black Swamps
The @[Black Swamps](location:6634d396-a078-4636-9b03-e0c8e9f49e18) of @[Nótios](location:8f6eae07-fe72-4323-95e2-8b36f72ac97a) are known for thick black mud that covers the ground and the unpredictable nature of everything in the swamp. Danger lurks here around every corner, even though the @[Reptilians](species:b0d5a5e5-ba37-4a20-b95c-8784697b6500) and the @[Anura](species:26bb85e0-ba48-4b4b-abd8-b247faf8c1eb) choose to make this place their home.

This causes few to even attempt to cross a short distance of these areas, choosing to circumvent it if at all possible.

@[Dragon's Claw](location:74a66741-0616-41bd-87a6-ab7d8c02cf8a) is one of the shorter mountains in the @[Spikes of Kallex](location:ae0e053d-b839-46ed-a66e-3e5428fa1135), but the first documented climb of this mountain led to a revolution in mountaineering and mapmaking in the area. @[Traenas Elrel](person:d9091f84-94de-4f1c-af36-b82cb03614e2) and his climb of @[Dragon's Claw](location:74a66741-0616-41bd-87a6-ab7d8c02cf8a) is considered the birth of mountaineering in the @[Spine of Kallex](location:e0033a8e-f7dd-42ba-9281-4127f18fbeb5) as most believed it was impossible to climb those dangerous mountains.
Dragon's Peak
@[Dragon's Peak](location:64a67eec-d8c2-4e62-a8c2-15762afdc214) is one of the @[Spikes of Kallex](location:ae0e053d-b839-46ed-a66e-3e5428fa1135) at the northern most end of the @[Spine of Kallex](location:e0033a8e-f7dd-42ba-9281-4127f18fbeb5). This mountain denotes where the land begins to give way to the @[Teeth of the North](location:1d85c97c-c256-4171-b168-0cbe40d2fc74) and dangerous terrain for boats along the northern shore of @[Vóreios](location:26b2c1bf-5618-453e-9e0c-e79a9519f5a0).
Edenbloom Fields
It is a rare sight to see one of the hidden valleys of the @["Metallic Council"](location:93187e97-ad65-4dd3-8c72-849716ee91a8) in full bloom with @[Edenblooms](species:efd862a1-fe10-4839-9dcb-cb166a2849cd). The last instance of this was when @[Wenso](person:a428e73b-0768-4e35-8dfa-6951107b4541) joined the @[Council of Metallic Dragons](organization:ce7a5e0d-7d02-4d1f-9b4f-20324339a18e).

The @[Last Flight](ritual:0ee826d6-7e0a-441f-a655-734ad0b8ed41) for a @[Metallic Dragons](species:2be6c926-c3bd-41b7-8da7-7e7656d3c5c9) ends in the creation of an ore vein. Their impact is known to create large deep veins of various ores, with @[Gold Dragons](species:1e204786-d880-4548-9854-6da84cb83723) creating @[Gold](material:62b54d3a-7188-4cb9-81e2-18d0903be88a) veins.

From the north, these hills look unassuming, catching the light and allowing the sight of other hills to blend in with what could be an idyllic spot. This view is what led to a @[Shaman](profession:1b49f4a5-decc-40f7-abcd-a6ee004f71d3) stopping during his travels to get a closer look at this cluster of three hills. The man would name this cluster the @[Hills of Vollan](landmark:724c0ed2-ea69-464e-b29b-592c69caca89) and it would eventually become home to the arena where the @[Vollan Rue](ritual:6bc64e6e-d0f2-41d5-b4e4-7ab119caf289) is held.
Island of Blessings
An isle of once great beauty, the @[Island of Blessings](location:cf3dd214-d5a5-4dc8-970e-50129c3a46bf) has changed to a landscape of ice and snow as the events of the @[Eldritch War](militaryConflict:7bb5a23f-6153-4a53-8958-dab07282311f) greatly changed the once amazing magic that was there.
Kallex's Tooth
@[Kallex's Tooth](location:00532476-8a6c-41b9-9aa6-3bcf4904cce5) is one of the @[Spikes of Kallex](location:ae0e053d-b839-46ed-a66e-3e5428fa1135) in the northern end of the @[Spine of Kallex](location:e0033a8e-f7dd-42ba-9281-4127f18fbeb5). The valleys around its base hide the homes of many peoples and the entrance to the home of the @[Metallic Dragons](species:2be6c926-c3bd-41b7-8da7-7e7656d3c5c9). Only those deemed worthy by the @[Metallic Dragons](species:2be6c926-c3bd-41b7-8da7-7e7656d3c5c9) may find the entrance to their sanctuary. Very few have ever entered through the entrance beneath @[Kallex's Tooth](location:00532476-8a6c-41b9-9aa6-3bcf4904cce5).

Mist from the Abyss
One of the reasons that @[Dreadfall](settlement:be3d9378-41ba-4dd3-90df-1366d435a856) was built near the abyss was due to the thick, magical mist that blanketed the area. This mist is a creation of @[Ozul](person:63f83aef-4ae6-44f1-b2ba-8cee987e41a2) to shroud his @[Lair](location:ac393943-4d4e-4d00-b21f-f99d4d242852), but it served as a benefit to the city across the abyss.
Mithril Peak
Often in the winter months, the top of @[Mithril Peak](location:d7bf15f9-ba93-4b02-b900-370958d6832c) is shrouded in a thick fog. Above that layer of fog, one can view @[Mithril Major](location:dddb4f2d-ed1b-4b10-b7cb-8df159b38092), @[Mithril Minor](location:c3e147dd-3482-4797-a10a-0c312f5276dd), and their constellations while seeming to float in the sky.
Northern Outposts
The snowy lands of the @[Northern Outposts](organization:e140f1ca-06b9-4bdc-b9f0-a1219dcc8b16) on the border of the @[Neither Tundra](location:068ed9e7-ed63-4ead-967e-0f6d9cd51e5b) are inhabited by @[Elves](species:12153bb6-bc36-4d10-a536-8f6e2c0965a3), but the @[Giants](species:a96cb585-2054-416e-b888-4a1f187e2f41) of the north have been known to encroach on the territory of the @[Elven Kingdom](organization:ddb95c2d-a577-4f10-a7fc-7adbb60e3d2c) when the need arises.
