Duzanteer Dwarves

Colloqiully being known as the Duzanteer Dwarves, are those of the Dwarves who have submitted or eagerly support the ruling cabal of the Ironbelt Brothers. They are dangerous and xenophobic, tolerating other Kanoia in so far as long as the danger of retribution is too great to ignore. They are known to enslave other Cavernborn to a terrifying degree.

Naming Traditions

Feminine names

Masculine names

Aqzin, Khazz, Rok, Uul, Uurku, Qirriq, Zelziq

Family names

Clan names are two to three letters in the Common tongue, like the infamous "Ba" (the bloodline of the Ironbelt Brothers) or Clan Zik. These names are passed down patrilineality to sons who are born through a recognized union who are Bloodbound regardless if the father has one son or one hundred. The only exception for dwarven women is if they are the first wife of a man with a clan, they will often be addressed with their husband's clan name as a sign of respect for that clan. Otherwise she will be referred to as given name of clan name. A dwarf without a clan or is not recognized by a clan may try and start their own, as long as the name is not taken (conflicts of "stolen" names while infrequent are known of being extremely brutal.) The name being of any note relies entirely on the prestige and wealth this dwarf can amass, as some clans are never recognized by others and fade into the mist of history.

Kills an Elf with their bare hands
Finds an ore deposit worth enough to outfit a unit of Enforcers

Captures equal to or more slaves than their age.

Sleeping without something covering their body from the sky.

Relationship Ideals

Relationships are not romantic in this culture. If not for business or political connections, male Duzanteer Dwarves will pay dowry for wives. Harems are not uncommon for the well off.
