The Nexus Temple
Brief
Nestled in the protected land of the Nexus National Park, the Nexus Temple is a vitally important landmark within Isidoro. It is incredibly safeguarded, and visitors are only allowed to visit at certain times of the year unless they are of a high enough member of the church, or they are part of the maintenance staff.Purpose / Function
Due to its proximity to The Nexus, the temple is used during seasonal celebrations of the gods of Isidoro. It is strictly for offerings, small prayers and ceremonial services.
Alterations
The main alterations done to the temple occurred when the territory was taken over to be converted into a national park. Fencing was added around the temple and a section of the land around it to be used as housing for the upkeep of the temple grounds as well as keeping a specific ceremonial garden.
Architecture
Main Materials
The main materials used in the creation of this keystone of Hajev are white polished marble, a variety of gemstones as embellishments, and a intimidating set of mahogany doors which windows sparkle with stained glass windows, a preview of the stunning variety of stained glass windows within the main building itself.Key Features
Stained Glass 90% of the windows within the Nexus Temple are full of vibrant and colourful stained glass windows. This causes a kaleidoscope of colour to sprawl along the floor as sunlight comes in, bathing the beings praying in a blanket of shimmering light. Worship Areas The Nexus temple is a special kind of temple within Isidoro. It is one of the handful of temples that have altars to each of the gods within The Isidoro Pantheon, and by far is the most lavish and outstanding example of a full pantheon building. However. It does not have an area for Silence the bloodkeeper god. This temple was built far before the creation of Silence, and as a result there is no altar within the circle for them. Bloodkeepers are in the process of lobbying for an addition for their god, but with minimal success.
