The Heart of The Hollow Oak Tree
Hollow Oak is a quaint almost forgettable province in the Kingdom of Bilow. It sits at the south of the Kingship, bordering a region of towering cliffs and prides of lions outside Bilow's borders. Its population is small, it is home to only one noble family, and only produces one resource of note. However looks can be deceiving, and the deception of Hollow Oak is quite clear to those looking. Something is not right about the province. The forest rots and mutate as the days pass, children were kidnapped by Goblins in order to summon a devil, zombies, and undead of deadly design roam the lands, trafficking of Goliath's were recently uncovered, and a gnoll host of an unknown size threatens to raid the province out of existence. The would-be the mastermind of this lies dead and the threats still continue, they still grow worse! More threats arrive as well, as the Silverhills make their moves to claim parts of the province. The Wardens of the Black Path have many trials to complete as the fate of the province lies in their hands.
Themes
The themes of this plot are fighting back and correcting the wrongs and evils that were left to rot centuries ago. The party will battle the past, confront the present, and make choices that will determine the future.
