Ceremonial Warfare

Ceremonial Warfare, or Ritual Warfare, refers to highly ritualized, spiritual, and elaborate methods of waging war. Societies which practiced ceremonial warfare typically did not wage wars of annihilation, and deaths resulting from wars were minimal. In the Vast South, most civilizations, with the notable except of the Violet Coast people, practiced ritual warfare before ~4300 HE, including the Redbeaks, the Long Lake People, and the Tyrantian People.

In the Vast South

Before the spread of Western Tactics after the Kindmountian-Harmonic War, ceremonial warfare was commonplace and widespread in the Vast South, except in the Violet Coast.
