Jogo Cloubert (JO-GO CLOW-but)
Joseph Gordon Cloubert (a.k.a. Jogo)
Talented Chef
Born, raised and trained as a chef in the city of Absalom, Jogo earned quite a reputation working for a Qadiran Street food stall, Giantep Ocakbaşi in the heart of the Grand Bazaar. His most popular dish, ali nazik, tender morsels of marinated beef sitting on a bed of garlicky yogurt-eggplant purée served with a delicious leaf salad topped with chopped walnuts and zingy pomegranate molasses brought huge numbers to the stall and Jogo cobbled together enough money to 'go it alone'. Unfortunately for Jogo, his business acumen and poor gambling choices soon found his business on it's uppers, so at the tailend of 4719AR, with sharks after him for borrowed funds, he cut his losses, sold his recipe to his original employer, paid off his debts and left the city quickly securing a job at the Crow's Casks in Otari in the employ of Magiloy. Whilst frustrated at once again being in the employ of another, rather than his own man, Jogo has enjoyed his time in the small logging and fishing community. The tavern he works at has a good vibe, interesting drinks and his culinary creations have put it at the top of the list of places to eat in Otari. Whilst working at Crow's Casks. Jogo has moved away from his Qadiran street food style cooking and employed a more Golarion Fusion approach. His menu for Pharast 4723AR looks like this.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Jogo is out of shape, but not fat. He eats too much rich food, drinks too much, doesn't exercise and sleeps erratically. He is a heart attack waiting to happen....but he isn't fat ( a point he frequently makes to justify his lifestyle)
Body Features
Standing a typical Halfling height of bang on 3', carrying just a few extra pounds, his physique could be considered typical of his ancestry
Facial Features
Jogo is swarthy, well tanned with wiry black hair, bushy brows and a well oiled and maintained moustache. He has a tendency to grimace when cooking which bares his teeth in a somewhat unnerving fashion, giving the appearance of a snarl.
Physical quirks
Although now covered up with leather wrist guards, Jogo's wrist are a mass of burn marks, a legacy of working with passflames (an open-flame device used to keep food and plates hot)
