Daughter of Tyryl Bronzebeard and a troll for a mother (No one knew this was even possible) Mistryn was loved strongly by both. But the dwarven society of Nindarum saw her as an abomination, and so did the trolls of Galdøheim. In their atempt to flee her mother got killed. Tyryl managed to get himself and Mistryn omboard a ship headed for the Isles of Elementis. This is how they got to Fishtown, where they have been ever since. From a young age (young for her race) she was very interested in the healing properties of herbs and nature. She also discovered she had healing powers. Because of this her father worked hard so he could send her to study at the Gondolian academy for healers. She was a brilliant student, but because of her never before seen race and apparance she was severly bullied and harrassed by her fellow students. This got so bad that she decided to quit and teach herself, returning to her fathers tavern. Here she would become the local healer and herbalist.

Old Gendrick has provided "Fires kiss" herbs for Mistryns ointments for years. It dates back to when Mistryn worked on his farm as a girl. Old Gendrick was one of the people who really inspired and cultivated Mistryns interest in herbalism, and she is forever gratefull.
