Chrysos

Chrysos is one of the Eight Provinces of the Ashardian Empire. Known as the "Golden Fields", it is the largest agricultural producer in the entire Empire. Historically, Chrysos was operated primarily as a loose collection of City-States, but a more central rule was establish following its conquering by the original Ashardian Dynasty.

Geography

Chrysos is divided into two main cultural regions: Kallinos, the mainlaind; and Athis, the island. The Hold of Sertes bridges the two regions over the Great Salt River, the oceanic channel that seperates the Athis from Kallinos. Chrysos enjoys a Mediterranean climate, and is primarily dominated by vast, rocky fields of golden grass and crops. The island of Athis is slightly more tropical where it borders the Strait. Things are greener in the North, where the province border Evermarsh.
