Empress Amala was a renowned ruler of the Aletheian Empire for over a century, only stepping down from the throne when her she recognised that her health had begun to fail and her son was prepared enough to take up her mantle. She was succeeded by her eldest son, Emperor Asterion of Aletheia, leaving him a prosperous empire that existed mostly in peace.
