Banshee

A subset of ghosts, banshees are usually undead women who died traumatically and in anger. They possess blood-curdling screams that can kill all who hear it, and more powerful banshees are capable of raising the dead with the sheer power of their voice.
Banshees are usually elven women, specifically, but rare examples have arisen from other species.
