Samurai

Samurai were once a noble order of fighters that formed within the Lost Empire of Meihua. In the intervening years since the empire's collapse, they have spread through Istralar and taken on a role much like that of a cavalier. They are honourable, brave folk adhering to a specific order and its aligned set of morals, and are usually sworn to a specific person or cause.
Orders who may train samurai are most commonly found in Xin-Jiyu, where they once began, but can be found throughout Istralar these days. Some orders are comprised of a mixture of cavaliers, samurai, and ever-faithful paladins or well-disciplined monks, as well.
