The Dwarf Kingdom
The history of the Dwarf Kingdom is a long and rich one, dating back to the early days of the Age of Myth. The dwarves were a proud and industrious race, known for their skill in metalworking and stonecraft. They built great halls and mines deep beneath the earth, amassing wealth and knowledge that would be passed down through the ages.
In the early years of the Empire of Halion, the dwarves were largely left alone to their own devices. The Halish viewed them as a curiosity at best, and a nuisance at worst. However, as the empire expanded and its hunger for resources grew, the Halish began to take a greater interest in the Khastin Mountains.
The dwarves, being a fiercely independent people, were not keen on sharing their lands with outsiders. They fought back against Halish incursions with all their might, using their knowledge of the mountain terrain to great effect. Many a Halish army was lost in the winding tunnels and treacherous caverns beneath the Khastin Mountains.
Despite the occasional territorial dispute, the Dwarf Kingdom and the Empire of Halion have maintained a mostly cordial relationship over the years. The dwarves continue to work tirelessly in their mines and forges, producing some of the finest weapons and armor in all the land. And while they may be a private and stubborn race, they are also loyal and true to their friends.
