Valencia Vanesk
Paladin Valencia Vanesk (a.k.a. Cia)
Valencia Vanesk is a paladin in service to the Goddess of Magic Katayleth. Valencia had a brief run in with the Friends of Peace however they parted on amicable terms. During her time with the Friends of Peace Valencia claimed to be following a prophecy given to her by an oracle of Ixlena.
Valencia Vanesk is the older sister of Voewin and the daughter of Finlay Vanesk, the lord commander of the Sentinel's of Halion. Despite her father's rejection of her decision to join the Church of the Thirteen Divines as a paladin, Valencia remained steadfast in her commitment to her faith and her duty as a paladin. She has undergone rigorous training to hone her combat skills and has proven herself to be a skilled and fearless warrior. Her devotion to the Thirteen Divines and her unwavering faith have earned her the respect and admiration of the people she serves.
However, her father Finlay was not supportive of her decision. As the lord commander of the Sentinel's of Halion, Finlay was a powerful and influential figure in the Empire, and he saw Valencia's decision to join the Church as a betrayal of their family and their legacy. Despite her attempts to reconcile with her father and explain her motivations, Finlay refused to listen, and he effectively disowned Valencia when she joined the Church.
Valencia's relationship with her sister Voewin is more complicated. Voewin, who joined the Sentinel's of Halion to earn her father's approval, has a deep respect for Finlay and his authority. This has caused tension between the two sisters, as Valencia believes that Voewin is sacrificing her own beliefs and values to please their father. Despite this, Valencia and Voewin remain close and continue to support each other, even if they do not always see eye to eye.
Despite these conflicts, Valencia remained steadfast in her commitment to her faith and her duty as a paladin. She has undergone rigorous training to hone her combat skills and has proven herself to be a skilled and fearless warrior. Her devotion to the Thirteen Divines and her unwavering faith have earned her the respect and admiration of the people she serves, and she is often called upon to defend the innocent and protect the weak.
As a respected and admired member of the Church of the Thirteen Divines, Valencia has become a powerful force for good in the Empire. Her courage, determination, and unwavering faith have made her a true leader among the paladins of the Church, and she continues to inspire those around her to be their best selves and to serve the greater good, despite the challenges she may face along the way.
